Automation and Manual Control

 Automation should leave room for manual correction.

I don't mind correcting settings that have been automatically selected for me.

I do mind not having any control to set things manually when the automatic selection does not suit me.

The ONLY things that should be completed automated are those things that can be now and forever correctly selected automatically 100% of the time.  That is a pretty high bar.
